Of course my first post after my intro would have to be food! Not just any food, Disney  food! I actually started my travel blog because I wanted to write about the food I ate at Disney a couple weeks ago. I edited all my food photos and was ready to post them on IG and I just couldn't write everything I wanted in an IG post. It was at that moment that I decided it was time to finally create my travel blog! Here are 15 foods/beverages I tried at Disney in order from least favorite to  most favorite.

Most of the food on my list is from the Festival of the Holidays Tasting Passport. You can get these passports for free and it is your guide to all the magical holiday treats. Unfortunately, my trip was very short and I only got to try a small portion of the offerings. These items are available from November 11, 2022 to January 8, 2023. Let me know in the comments if you tried a dish and felt differently or if you tried something I didn't get to.

I do have to say that I have always been impressed with the amount of quality behind all of Disney's food for the price and amount they serve each day. I can't believe how consistent they are in all their dishes. With that being said, because Disney has such high quality taste, presentation, and consistency, when something tastes normal, it doesn't feel like it's Disney. Without further ado here are the foods I tried and how I rated them based on my tastes.

15. Lox & Everything Bagel Nachos

These nachos were my least favorite. I think they would be better if there were more pieces of salmon and less pieces of onion. Or maybe, just have mini bagels instead of "bagel chips."

14. Impossible Chorizo Queso Fundido

These chips and queso were definitely better than a normal queso, but Disney has such delicious food that these made it low on my list in comparison to other food I tried. I was also sad that it didn't come in the cute little baking pan that was pictured.

13. Popcorn

I'm really sad I got a not so tasty batch of popcorn. I usually love Disney popcorn, but the batch I got was soooo salty. I could not eat very many. It did make for a very pretty picture!

12. Corn Dog & Cheese Stick

This is a difficult one to rate because the corn dog was an average tasting corn dog, but the cheese on a stick was amazing! I almost wanted a second cheese stick but did not have the room in my tummy.

11. Impossible Quantum Garden Breakfast

This breakfast meal was from the Pym Test Kitchen and included a show on the Avengers Academy building! It tasted really good but it took forever to come out. Apparently, not many people order this one so there were none pre-prepared.

10. Horhcata Churro

Who doesn't love a churro? Disney is so fun because they always have a twist on their churros. I also love horchata so this churro was perfect for me! And did you really eat at Disney if you didn't have to eat/stand at a trash can? Iykyk.

9. Pumpkin Layered Cheesecake

This pumpkin cheesecake was delicious! It was missing the cute little Festival of the Holidays decorative chocolate piece, but it still tasted amazing! I loved the hybrid between pumpkin pie and cheesecake. So creamy and fluffy!

8. Experiment 027: Butter Pecan Cold Brew

I had never tried a butter pecan coffee until this one. It was so good! If I ordered this again, I would definitely add more of the crumbled pecans. The crunch added a really cool texture as you got to the end of your drink. Next time I would mix them in.

7. Pork Tamale Plate & Guac

Tortilla Jo's in Downtown Disney did not disappoint! I am from NM and I love trying different Mexican restaurants. It was so difficult to pick what to eat at this restaurant because everything sounded so good! I ended up getting a tamale, rice, beans, and guacamole. It was perfect! The chile had a good taste but was not hot which is perfect for me because I'm not huge on spice.

6. Clam Chowder in a Sourdough Bowl

Thee Pacific Wharf Cafe looks just like San Francisco! The sourdough bread bowl was delicious and they were able to put the soup in a plastic bowl since my friend and I wanted to share.

5. Brisket Slider

I don't think this picture really does this slider justice. It is so cute and delicious! The meat was perfectly cooked and practically melted in your mouth. The sauce was tasty and did not overpower the meat.

4. Ronto Morning Wrap

I had never thought about making breakfast in a pita bread, but oh my was this a revelation! This breakfast wrap was so good and had the right amount of peppercorn sauce! You can find it at Ronto Roasters in Galaxy's Edge.

3. Sweet Potato-stuffed Corn Muffin

This was one of my top 3 dishes! The only thing that would have made it better would have been if the corn muffin and sweet potatoes were warm to match the heat of the beans.

2. Impossible Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes

I am not a huge fan of meatloaf, but oh my goodness! This was sooo delicious! If I hadn't wanted to try different foods, I could have had another one of these! Everything about this dish was delicious, the crispy shallots, the gravy, the meatloaf, and the mashed potatoes!

1. Peppermint Bark Bread Pudding

Hands-down this was the most delicious dessert I have ever tasted! I need a recipe to be able to recreate this dessert! I already loved Bread Pudding, but the combination of white chocolate, chocolate chips, peppermint, whipped cream, and creme anglaise just hit different! I wish I would have had this one of the other days I was in the park.

Welcome to my travel blog, my name is Danielle Diaz and I absolutely love to travel. If I could travel as my job I totally would! There are so many places I want to explore and so many things to experience and try. I have traveled to many cities in California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina, and DC. I haven't really traveled abroad yet, but I would like to. I have had a travel bug all my life and just can't get enough of it. I can't wait to share my adventures with you! If you have any recs on places I should go or things I should see, drop a comment! Keep reading below for adventures I like to seek out when I am traveling.

Running

First and foremost I love to take runcations! My goal is to run a half marathon in every state. So far I have run a half in New Mexico, Arizona, Florida and California. I have also run other distances in Colorado and Georgia. My very first half marathon was the Star Wars Half in Orlando, Florida in 2018. I have many more halves to run and I absolutely can't wait!

Challenges

I am a very anxious person and have struggled with anxiety all my life. One way I battle it, is by trying challenging things. The more I step out of my comfort zone, the less scary things are. The picture above is from a relay race in Colorado. This was the first time I had run at night in the mountains. It was quite the adventure!

Picture

Entertainment

I had to find a way to include Harry Potter in this post. I absolutely love the books, movie, and all the content other creators have made related to HP. I was able to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child this year in San Francisco. It was amazing and it was also the first play I had ever seen. It truly was magical. When traveling, I try to experience different types of entertainment including plays, concerts, or special events.

Monuments/National Parks

It was difficult to decide on a picture for this category because there are so many monuments, national parks, and iconic places. I would love to visit all the National Parks in the US, which is quite a large goal but doable. There are so many beautiful places and buildings in the US and around the world just waiting to be explored. There is also a company that hosts Half Marathons around different National Parks and around the world!

Museums

Of course, I also love to visit any zoos, aquariums, and museums in the places I visit. I love to compare how each place organizes, displays, and makes their information interactive. I love to learn about history through real-life artifacts. The Maritime Museum in San Diego has been one of my favorite museums so far.

Hiking

I am a nature lover, so I also try to find hiking spots when I travel. It is so cool to be able to see different plants and animals when I hike in other cities/states. I need to get better at identifying plants/animals but I am working on that! If you have any good resources to help teach me about different plants/animals please drop it in the comment box!

Picture

Amusement Parks

I am a Disney Adult, but I do also seek out other amusement parks. I went to Legoland for the first time this year! This is one area I would like to do more research on because I really don't know about many other amusement parks besides Disney, Universal, and Legoland.
Picture

Food

If you follow me on any other social media platform, you know I am a Foodie! I am from New Mexico, so I love trying Mexican food in any place I visit. You'd be surprised how different tacos can be around the world. I also like to try new foods that are unique to the location.

Picture

Seasonal

If I am traveling during a holiday or season, I try to find seasonal events to experience. There are so many different ways cities celebrate the same season/holiday. It's fun to experience the similarities and differences.
Picture

LEGO

I can't adventure to new places without looking for a LEGO store. I don't have one in my state, so I have to get my LEGO Pick & Build wall fix when I travel. I even have a LEGO Passport to collect stamps when I travel to new LEGO stores.
Picture

Ups & Downs

Travel isn't all about happy moments. I will also share with you the hard times that come with travel. This summer I was stung by a bee right before a 5k and half marathon. I called my mom right away to make sure I wasn't allergic! Eep!
